WXPN has booked Wiggins Waterfront Park in Camden County for the WXPN - All About The Music - Festival scheduled for July 22-24.

PHILADELPHIA, PA - WXPN (88.5 FM), the noncommercial public radio station from the University of Pennsylvania, announced plans to hold the "WXPN - All About The Music - Festival" at Camden County's Wiggins Park, located on the Camden Waterfront, a venue that will provide waterfront views, lush open green spaces, and a variety of local attractions.

In selecting Wiggins Park for its 2005 summer music event, WXPN plans to offer a variety of family-friendly activities, create a sprawling festival atmosphere in an urban park setting, and host a variety of up-and-coming and heritage musical acts at an affordable ticket price.

"Wiggins Park is a perfect setting for our annual community music event - the grass, the river, and a gorgeous view of the Philadelphia skyline," said Roger LaMay, WXPN general manager. "And the Camden Waterfront offers new opportunities like the Children's Garden and the newly renovated Adventure Aquarium to enrich the whole weekend experience for our members."

"Camden County is thrilled to host this year's WXPN Festival," said Camden County Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli. "Not only is the event the perfect addition to the County's concert and festival lineup this season, it's another way for the region to celebrate the opening of the new Adventure Aquarium and other exciting developments on the Camden Waterfront."

Camden County's Wiggins Park is located on the Camden Waterfront, between the new Adventure Aquarium and the Battleship New Jersey. The Park also features a 50-slip marina, and a promenade along the Delaware River with breathtaking views of the river and Philadelphia skyline.

Complete program line up and ticket information will be announced this spring.
