PHILADELPHIA (MAY 5, 2017): WXPN, the non-commercial, member-supported radio station of the University of Pennsylvania, today announced additions to the lineup of artists performing in its 2017 XPoNential Music Festival presented by Subaru. The annual 3-day outdoor music festival will take place from Friday, July 28 through Sunday, July 30 at Wiggins Park and the adjacent BB&T Pavilion on the Camden, New Jersey waterfront. ARTIST LINEUP ADDITIONS Just announced are Offa Rex (The Decemberists & Olivia Chaney), Foxygen, Hurray for the Riff Raff and Pinegrove, performing at the two stages in Wiggins Park. Plus, Philadelphia-area artists just announced who will perform at the festival include The Dove & The Wolf, No Good Sister, Swift Technique, Hurry and Hardwork Movement.

These artists join previously-announced Wiggins Park performers Drive-By Truckers, Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaires, Angel Olsen, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Strand of Oaks, David Bromberg Quintet, Joseph, Dave Hause & The Mermaid, Arkells, Davy Knowles, Brownout, Adia Victoria, and Xenia Rubinos. More Wiggins Park artists and the full festival schedule will be announced.

Artists who will perform at the adjacent BB&T Pavilion as part of the XPoNential Music Festival are Wilco, Conor Oberst, and Hop Along on Friday, July 28, and Amos Lee and Friends featuring Preservation Hall Jazz Band, and Spoon, along with special guests The Suffers and Chicano Batman, on Saturday, July 29. TICKETS -The popular 3-Day Go Everywhere Pass provides general access to Wiggins Park and lawn access to BB&T shows, with the option to upgrade to reserved seating at BB&T Pavilion for evening shows there on July 28 and 29. Last Sunday, April 30 during Jazz Fest in New Orleans, Amos Lee joined Preservation Hall Jazz Band to provide audience members with a preview of their XPoNential Music Festival show together on Saturday, July 29 at the BB&T Pavilion.

ABOUT XPONENTIAL MUSIC FESTIVAL The XPoNential Music Festival presented by Subaru is WXPN’s signature annual concert event that draws audiences from throughout the Greater Philadelphia area, Mid-Atlantic region, and Northeastern US. Now in its 13th year at Wiggins Park and 6th year at the adjacent BB&T Pavilion, WXPN produces the XPoNential Music Festival in partnership with the Camden County Board of Freeholders.
