WXPN Music Director and Host Dan Reed presented the first of the month's on-air segments today, April 1, in the 4 p.m. hour.

Dubliners Little Green Cars are a tour de force in alternative rock with powerful country harmonies ranging in sound from fuzzy rock `n roll to Guthrie-influenced electric finger picking. "The John Wayne" is a definitive hit off their debut album, Absolute Zero. Its fuzz and electric harmony is backed by slow, steady drum and bass only made more intense by the emotional lyrics belted out by lead singers Stevie Appleby and Faye O'Rourke.
