The Kids Corner Music Festival on November 2nd will feature the best in today's live kids' music entertainment. Josh & Gab will take the stage at 11 a.m. and Ratboy Jr. will follow at 12 p.m. WXPN will have free balloon creations for kids made by The Balloon Man (and his helpers), and a kid-friendly selection of food and drinks will be available for purchase at the event.

"There's no better way to cap off the silver anniversary celebration of Kids Corner than with a gathering of Kids Corner kids and their families enjoying wonderful music, food and fun together. That's what the Kids Corner Music Festival is all about," said Kids Corner host Kathy O'Connell.

Josh & Gab are Josh Verbanets and Gab Bonesso, Pittsburgh-based comedy writers, performers and educators who have developed a unique and unforgettable musical anti-bullying program. Ratboy Jr. consists of longtime pals Tim Sutton and Matt Senzatimore, who hail from New York's Hudson Valley and bring clever lyrics, entertaining rhymes and humorous riddles such as those found on their two albums Smorgasboard and Champions of the Universe.

Tickets for the Kids Corner Music Festival are available now at at a cost of $8 each for WXPN members and $12 for the general public.

Airing weeknights from 7pm to 8pm on WXPN-FM 88.5 FM, Kids Corner is WXPN's live, interactive radio show for children that has earned more than two dozen broadcasting awards, including the prestigious George Foster Peabody Award, which recognizes outstanding achievement in radio and television broadcasting. The show's primary mission is to provide a stimulating variety of educational and entertaining topics, guests and music for children ages 6 to 13. The program also serves as a resource for parents, educators and professionals in child-related fields.

Since March 2011, the Kids Corner Music Festival series has entertained more than 4,000 kids at events presented in Philadelphia, Central Pennsylvania and Wilmington, Delaware. With a mission to present quality music that the entire family can enjoy, these festivals showcase some of the newest and most popular sounds heard nightly on Kids Corner.
